Driving through the Rockies

We're getting to see some awesome scenery as we drive through the mountains to Denver. It's nice and sunny, and the roads are clear!

We stopped in Richfield, Utah for some dinner... Still a couple hundred miles from our destination of the night, Grand Junction.

Just spent the afternoon playing $5 blackjack and craps at the Gold Coast casino... And I came out 100 bucks ahead! Woooohoooo! Time to go.

I'd like you to meet our traveling companion, this fine ladder that hangs out in the middle of the van all the time. It's wonderful company on the long drive, but makes it a little tricky to get in and out of the van.

We celebrated the dawn of 2007 with some new friends at the Bangkok Pepper in El Paso. We checked into our hotel and then tried to find a bar to be at when Midnight hit, but no place within walking distance was open. Some nice people let us join their part

That's right, we're cruising through the desolate Western part of Texas and the speed limit is 80 miles per hour. Only about 800 more miles till our next show stop in Phoenix.... YEEHAW!
